Gail Hunter
Gail has worked at Board Level within Human Resources for over 30 years, leading the people agenda for fast-paced organisations that have in particular embarked on transformation change. Gail is therefore highly experienced in working with the complexities of human behaviour when change is contemplated or experienced. This, underpinned by her coaching credentials, enables her to support her clients as they navigate their career journeys, acting as their ‘Thinking Partner’ to help them identify and work towards achieving their career aspirations.
Coaching Style and Expertise
Gail is passionate about encouraging the development of strong female talent pipelines within organisations and therefore one of her specialisms is working with female emerging and executive leaders to support their professional career development. By asking insightful question and encouraging self-reflection she facilitates discussions that help clients identify their strengths, gain inner confidence, develop resilience, and identify their own authentic style of leadership.
Gail has supported many clients at critical career transition/crossroad points. Her coaching style is encouraging, positive, and solution-focused, providing a safe and supportive environment where clients are offered space and time to think. She helps them to gain clarity about their professional or personal challenges and works with them to find ways in which they can move closer to achieving their goals.
She is also highly skilled in supporting clients who experience difficult working relationships. She helps clients to consider other perspectives and recognise and value psychological differences in order to build rapport and improve working relationships.
Gail champions women in leadership, understanding and leading the ‘human’ implications of change and the development of positive working relationships to improve personal effectiveness.

Testimonials
“Gail expertly coached me through a major restructuring at work and made me feel very comfortable throughout. She genuinely empathised with my situation, whilst helping me to articulate how various issues made me feel and guiding me through them to ensure that I continued to showcase my professional strengths at all times. She was always interested to hear how things had developed since our last session, and always made sure I left each session fully equipped to handle the next steps. Gail’s coaching has had a lasting impact on me and positively changed my mindset. I don’t think that I would have been able to engage with the coaching programme with just anyone; Gail really is superb and I can’t recommend her highly enough. “
